360° eTECH – Online and Hands-on Manufacturing Education

This session will describe in detail the 360° eTECH program, which is a program providing online and hands on manufacturing education to both high school students and incumbent workers.  Attendees will get an overview of the various technologies utilized in the course deliveries, as well as best practices in delivering courses through a consortium model.  Attendees will take away ideas for developing consortium based online & hands-on programs, as well as developing and fostering high school relationships. Discussion will center on a high school/college welding program in a rural part of the state, servicing high school students as well as adult learners. Providing online and hands-on solutions for low-skill workers or people who want to up-skill will be the theme of the discussion.
