Moodle is a very powerful instructional tool for assessment, content delivery, and collaboration; it’s modular nature empowers teachers to customize their courses to the needs of their students. However, the number of features can be overwhelming and lead to “the scroll of death” - a long list of content posing as an online course. Come learn how to design your Moodle course so that it is easy to navigate, appealing to students, and accessible, as well as how to automate your course management to save yourself time. There will be examples of multimedia quizzes, peer-editing workshops, homework dropboxes, discussion forums, and even a little gamification.
