This session will include open discussion regarding best practices of the application of social media in the learning/teaching and administrative process in higher education.  The presenter will also showcase BYOD and backchanneling; social media for communication; and how social media for collaboration and creativity shape the curriculum and the activities at an educational institution. The learning outcomes for this session include: 1. Determining the big picture mobile devices and responding applications use in the educational and administrative process in higher (and K12) education 2. Drawing tangible and direct examples for successful social media use in the educational process.
